No real estate agent or mortgage broker has any clue what the market will do three years from now. And if they claim they do, ignore them, or encourage them to pursue a career in fortune telling. If you want to buy or sell, do so at your own pace, not because you’re being terrified into acting. If you’re selling, pricing your house correctly from the beginning will have far more of an effect on finding a buyer than will a quarter point increase in interest rates.
